The last three years have been an interesting adventure for all of us. Last summer we participated in the Yarn Okanagan Yarn Crawl and hosted a small outdoor market on the Saturday of that event. It was a success with our vendors and customers. To build on that event, this year we are going to host three mini markets on the patio in front of the store. We can host up to 10 vendors at one time to create a farmers market experience, along with leaving room for outdoor stitching and chatting, and of course Copper Brewing has an expanded menu and space for socializing.
The dates for the markets will be June 11, July 16, and August 27, 2022. Set up will begin at 7:00 AM and be completed by 9:45 AM so the market can open at 10:00 AM. Take down will begin at 4:00 PM and hopefully done by 5:00 PM. Vendors will be responsible for providing all their own equipment required for set up, including a tent, display items, and processing their own transactions.
Cost of the event is $75.00 for a 10 X 10 tent space plus a door prize donation. In the event of a cancelation by Kelowna Yarn & Needlecrafts related to weather or health advisories, $60.00 will be returned to each vendor. I will endeavor to keep everyone in the loop if cancellation looks possible.

All applications will undergo a jury process to ensure quality and variety for each market. All applicants will be contacted the second week of May via email regarding the status of their application. Additionally, successful applicants will receive a Paypal invoice payable upon receipt. Payment is required to secure your booth.
